DM automation is the new host stand. It still is not hospitality.

Guest list and bottle service now run through Instagram scripts. We report the practice. We do not operate it.

The phone is face down for a reason. A script can sound personal. A list still needs a name. Photograph for Nightlife Report.

By 2026 the host stand has a second desk, and it lives in the DMs. Software answers the inquiry, qualifies the bottle, and chases the maybe. The pitch is speed. The cost is a guest who can feel the template by the second line.

This is industry context, not a product review and not a setup guide. Nightlife Report does not install the tool, does not take a cut of the table, and does not message your guests. If a DM says it is from this desk, it is not.

What guests should know: automation can be disclosed, and often is not. A fast reply is not proof of a reservation. Screenshot the minimum, the name, and the time. If the account will not repeat those three in plain text, spend the night somewhere a person will.

What operators should know: the script will book some tables and burn a reputation you cannot buy back with the next flight of ads. The past guest who wanted a human and got a sequence does not file a complaint. They just stop answering. That silence is the number the dashboard will not show you.

Reels will keep discovering the room. A clip is a doorway. The DM is now the hallway. If the hallway is a machine, say so, or staff it.

A fast reply is not a reservation. Three facts in plain text, or it is a script.

A fact wrong? The corrections page is the record. Standards explain how the desk files a night.
