Interview, Image & Likeness Release

This release is between you, the person completing the Nightlife Report interview form, and Nightlife Report (“NR”, “we”), publisher of nightlifereport.app. It covers one thing only: the Nightlife Report feature built from your interview (the “Feature”).

(01) The interview. You let NR publish your answers in the Feature. We may edit them for length, clarity, grammar and style, and we may excerpt them. We will never change their meaning or put words in your mouth. Before the Feature runs, we will email you to confirm your quotes and credits. That check confirms accuracy. It is not approval of the Feature, and you can't rewrite the Feature through it. Anything you mark private or off the record, including your personal notes to the editor, is not published.

(02) Name, image, likeness and bio. You let NR use your name, image, likeness, the voice in any video you submit, and the bio you provide, in the Feature and to promote that Feature on NR channels. NR channels are nightlifereport.app, blog.nightlifereport.app, NR’s Instagram accounts (including @lillithmagic) and NR’s newsletter. We won’t use these in advertising for anyone else, suggest that you endorse a product, or sell or license them to a third party.

(03) Your photos. You keep the copyright in the photos and video you upload. You give NR a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish them in the Feature and in its promotion on NR channels. We may crop, resize and reformat them. We won’t retouch them in any other way, and we won’t use them to make composite, synthetic or superintelligence-generated images of you.

(04) Credits. We credit the photographer and creative team exactly as you list them in the form. If a credit is wrong, email us and we’ll fix it on NR channels.

(05) No payment. You take part voluntarily and you are not paid. Taking part doesn’t guarantee publication. NR decides whether, when and how the Feature runs.

(06) Your promises. You confirm three things. (a) You own the photos and video you upload, or you have permission from the photographer and from everyone recognizable in them for NR to use them as this release describes. (b) Your answers are true to the best of your knowledge. (c) Nothing you submit infringes anyone else’s rights.

(07) Age. You confirm you are 18 or older.

(08) Corrections and takedowns. To correct or remove anything, email editor@nightlifereport.app with the link to the Feature. We aim to reply within 5 business days. We correct errors of fact promptly. We consider removal requests in good faith, and we take photos down from channels NR controls within a reasonable time. We can’t recall copies other people have already shared, or anything already printed.

(09) How long it lasts. This release lasts as long as the Feature stays in NR’s archive, unless you ask for a takedown under (08).

(10) Release of claims. For the uses described here, you release NR from claims based on its use of your name, image, likeness or answers, such as privacy or right-of-publicity claims. This doesn’t cover any use outside this release.

(11) Electronic agreement. Ticking the release box in the interview form is your electronic signature. It has the same effect as signing on paper.

(12) Governing law. California law governs this release.

Ticking “I am 18 or older, I own or have permission to share the photos I upload, and I agree to the Nightlife Report Interview, Image & Likeness Release for this feature” in the interview form means you accept this release.
